November Marketplace Pass Goes Live

Mojang rolled out the November 2026 Marketplace Pass lineup on November 4, headlined by a SpongeBob SquarePants biome pack that transforms Overworld terrain into Bikini Bottom-inspired environments. The drop is available immediately to Marketplace Pass subscribers and Realms Plus members on Bedrock Edition.

SpongeBob Biomes Lead the Pack

The SpongeBob Biomes add-on reworks world generation with coral reefs, pineapple-structure villages, and jellyfish-field biomes. Custom mobs include jellyfish that drift through water columns and patty-flinging vendors. The pack also adds a texture variant that reskins standard blocks with nautical themes — sand becomes seabed grit, oak logs become driftwood, and glowstone mimics bioluminescent coral.

Horror Maps and Spy Gadgets

Two horror-themed adventure maps join the rotation: one set in an abandoned underwater research facility, another in a fog-shrouded village with procedural jump-scare triggers. Both support solo and co-op play with checkpoint systems.

A spy gadget add-on introduces throwable surveillance drones, grappling hooks with physics-based momentum, and a disguise system that lets players mimic mob models for stealth sections. The gadgets function in survival worlds without requiring command blocks.

RPG Class System Add-On

A new RPG class add-on adds five starting classes — Warrior, Archer, Mage, Rogue, and Cleric — each with a skill tree unlocked through experience orbs. Classes modify base stats, grant active abilities on cooldowns, and restrict equipment slots. The system saves per-world and works in multiplayer when all players have the pack applied.

Creeper Cosmetics and Texture Packs

Rounding out the drop: a creeper-themed texture pack that recolors hostile mobs with green pixel patterns, a skin pack of 24 creeper-variant characters, and an emote wheel featuring explode, hiss, and charge animations. The texture pack includes an optional high-contrast variant for accessibility.

What Remains Unclear

Mojang's announcement page does not list individual creator credits for each pack, nor does it specify whether the SpongeBob content is a timed exclusive or permanent addition to the Pass catalog. Pricing for standalone purchase — if the content leaves the Pass rotation — has not been published. The RPG class add-on's compatibility with other progression mods is also unconfirmed.
