THE SHORT ANSWER
Facepunch's September 2026 Breach and Clear patch adds monument blockers that decay after 24 hours, a tiered upkeep tax that penalises bases with more than four authorised players, rare high‑quality metal nodes favouring the Jungle, a drone marketplace tied to the Power Plant, a new honey bandage, and breakable armour panels on attack helicopters and armoured HABs plus modular‑car handling tweaks.
- Monument blockers guard red‑keycard rooms, require heavy damage, decay after 24 hours if untouched
- Upkeep tax scales: 0 % for first 4 players, 2 % per player for next 6, 4 % per player thereafter, capped at 300 %
- HQM ore nodes and collectables added, higher spawn rate in Jungle biome
- Drone Marketplace now needs Power Plant power; activates at 50 % battery with ≥4 fuses
- Medical Honey Bandage craftable at Workbench Level 1, bridges bandage and syringe
- Attack Helicopter armour falls off in stages (left 80 %/680 HP, right 70 %/595 HP, front 60 %/510 HP)
- Armoured HAB panels lose armour at set thresholds (left 90 %/2250 HP, right 80 %/2000 HP, back 70 %/1750 HP, front 60 %/1500 HP)
- Modular car steering, turning, suspension improved; better handling for high‑latency players
Monument Blockers
Monument blockers now sit in front of red‑keycard puzzle rooms at major monuments. They absorb a large amount of damage before breaking and do not respawn once destroyed. A few weaker variants can be taken down with melee weapons. If a blocker survives the first 24 hours of a wipe it begins to decay automatically.
Upkeep Group Scaling
Tool Cupboards now add an upkeep tax based on how many players are linked to a base. The tax tiers are:
- First 4 players: 0 % extra
- Next 6 players (5‑10): 2 % per player
- 11th player onward: 4 % per player The total tax caps at 300 %. The current rate is shown when hovering the upkeep cost in the TC UI. Server owners can adjust or disable the system via Decay ConVars.
HQM Nodes
High‑quality metal ore nodes and collectables have been added to the world. They are rare overall, with a higher spawn chance in the Jungle biome.
Drone Marketplace & Medical Honey Bandage
The Drone Marketplace now draws power from the Power Plant. The market’s internal battery charges when four or more fuses are active; once it reaches 50 % it accepts purchases. If the plant drops below one fuse the battery stops draining, but falling under 50 % disables the market again. A new Medical Honey Bandage, craftable at Workbench Level 1, sits between the basic bandage and the medical syringe and gives beekeepers a use for surplus honey.
Attack Helicopter, HAB Armour & Car Handling
Attack Helicopter cockpit armour now falls off in stages: left panel at 80 % (680 HP), right panel at 70 % (595 HP), front panel at 60 % (510 HP). Armoured HABs receive a similar system: left 90 % (2250 HP), right 80 % (2000 HP), back 70 % (1750 HP), front 60 % (1500 HP). Modular cars have revised steering, turning and suspension values, and the changes also improve handling for players with higher latency.
